Hello Everyone,

This is my first photo blog and I hope you enjoy my wonderful collection of still life, nature, people and impressionist photography!  Your feedback is always appreciate and I am located in the Bay Area of California.  In addition, I hope no one takes offense if I do not respond to awards, as they are not the goal of my blog.

  20. Hi, I see you have the 50mm 1.4. Just wondering if you’ve had a chance to compare it to the 1.8 and have an idea of how much better it is. I have the 1.8 now and am considering upgrading to the 1.4.

  24. Thank-you for coming by and for liking my parade pix. I used an absolutely huge $6,000 camera (can’t remember anything except that it was a Canon) because I was working for a newspaper at the time and the Sports Desk let me use it. They did the settings for me, which looked like the cockpit of a 747.It weighed a ton. Everyone yelled at me as I went out the door “If you drop it, don’t come back!”
    Ha! An idiot allowed out to wander the streets unsupervised, I managed to make it back by deadline. And even though they’re not the best pix – I didn’t drop the camera!

Interesting that you use CorelPaint… I used to be a big Corel fan (CorelDraw and CorelPaint) but for corporate purposes I switched over to the dark side… I don’t do illustration work anymore but now I am a daily Photoshop user! Anyway, you are doing a great job with Corel…. and your photography in general.

    1. Hi RMW, I had an old copy of Photoshop and used it five or six times but I did not really like it. So now I use Corel and it works for me. Maybe one day I will try the dark side again! 🙂
